Dusting of Snow/My World

Sunday morning we woke up to a dusting of sticky snow that clung to the trees, wires, fences...

All day long we had no wind to speak of. By early evening this is what the world looked like just outside the community I live in. Doesn't this farm look like it was touched with fairy dust?

To me it doesn't look real ...even though I was there and saw it with my own eyes. ;-)

This time of year the snow is gorgeous, isn't it. Come March, I might think differently. ;-)

Christmas card photos in my opinion! They are so beautiful...we had a little sleet one night but not enough for anything. I will forever get excited when it snows...makes me feel like a child.

Beautiful shots. Strangely enough we don't have snow yet here in Regina, but I have a feeling we won't have to wait long. \

Cheers!

Somehow it seems to early for snow, but then I'm in CA and we are having nearly tropical weather at the moment.

Those are beautiful photos!

It is enchanting! It looks like something Currier and Ives or Thomas Kincade would pain.

Looking at your snow reminds me that ours must be on its way.
Last winter the first snow fell in Vienna, Austria, on 16th November. After 2 days it was gone.

The first snow is the most beautiful thing I know! So pure and white, what a pleasure!
Hope we get some snow this year in Vienna - the car drivers would kill me if they knew :)

Oh, lovely photos! they'd make great postcards. We'll be lucky to even SEE any snow here in my part of the world.

Wow and yes that first shot in particular looks like a Christmas card. We saw our first squall today.

I fully agree with you. The first snow has an unmatched degree of magic about it. Your fist shot is a perfect Christmas card. Don't you just want to rush out there and burst with the wonder of it all?

I love the snow when it is white like this and when it doesn't cause a power loss....

Oh my gosh! That first shot looks like a painting! It's all very beautiful, but do you get sick of it by February? Or March? Or April? lol

Can you sell the 1st photo for Christmas cards? Please?

My hubs is a painter, and I called him in to look at the first photo. We both think it's wonderful, and it looks like a painting, not a photo. Amazing.

Definitely the stuff dreams are made of. Very beautiful. The top image is my favorite but all are nice. The top reminds me of a card are something. I didn't make it out to capture the snow today but enjoyed seeing your images.

The first of your 3 photos, especially, really does look like a Christmas card. (And it looks like quite a few of us had the same idea!)

Stay warm.

I guess you got it too, but not as much as we did. I'm wondering if it is here to stay. The first big snow is beautiful, but it does begin to get old real fast. LOL

Wonderful and beautiful photos from your world! Love the snow-photos:) It looks like an Norwegian christmas;)

We got a little bit snow a few days ago, but it's nearly gone again. Hope we will have some snow at christmas:)

Our weather is much the same. I like this type of snow - looks pretty, you don't have to shovel it, and it goes away before you get tired of it.

Great photo!

I love these images, nothing at all like here at the moment!

That top one is just perfection. You should frame it in a nice dark wood frame. I came to look at the watery wednesday post but am entranced at your other photos. The red harvester in the snow is lovely, too.
