"Rainbow" Leaf/ Macro Monday

Maple leaf coloured in maroon (almost purple), red, orange, yellow, green...

OK, no blue here but all the other colours in the rainbow are represented, sort of. I just had to show you a closeup of this beautiful leaf.

When I taught third grade, I wish I'd had this fab shot of leaves in fall.

I love the way each leaf is an individual work of art! They might be similar, but they are all different!

This is super! Normally one doesn't think of such a kaleidoscope of colors inherent in one little leaf.

Mother Nature sure didn't waste her time when she went to Art College!

Doncha just love fall. Normally you think of masses of colorful trees in the fall. You've captured the essence in a single leaf.

Nothing quite like a Maple tree in the Fall.

Love how the vibrant colour is concentrated at the end and then it seems to diminish in bands! Beautiful!

Beutiful photo. I have only experienced an eastern fall once and it was stunning. Out west we just don't have the colour.

Keep photographing and post more if you have a chance.

What a fortunate find! I don't often find leaves in the midst of changing. :)

'Tis a beautiful way to say goodbye to summer. Summer and autumn all in one leaf.

That is a beautiful capture of the essence of the fall season! One leaf, alone, contains a multitude of color layers! Amazing...
