Coral Bells/ Today's Flowers

Heuchera sanguinea (also known as coral bells)

Tiny long-lasting bells that bloom all summer when the spent blossoms are cut.

These lovely blossoms attract butterflies, hummingbirds and...ME!

Super super close-up, EG. It could be an illustration for a special plant book.
I have some Heuchera blooming and will go check the flower more closely. Well when the rain stops--oh well it will never stop and I won't melt--I'll go as soon as it gets light out. MB

Wonderful macro shot. I like to plant flowers and berry bushes for the birds.

They look so delicate but seem hardy from your description of a long blooming season.
