Exploring Central Ontario (CANADA)...and beyond
Oh my this is very pretty!! Love it!MM-After the rain
I love the ant in the center. It looks like he has gray whiskers!
wonderful macro, look at those little hairs on its rear end and the colors of the leaf, gorgeous!
I usually don't enjoy finding ants around, but this macro is superb.
Your shot of the ants is fabulous. Did you use a tripod, at all?
Really, really good!
Ha, I took a picture of the same thing yesterday but went with something else today. :)Those ants are very busy on peony buds.
What a capture!
Great close up capture!
Great shot and very topical for me right now as we're fighting back an invasion of the little devils in our house. :)
What a macro! Amazing how big the ants look!
Super macro, EG. I wonder if my Peonys are blooming yet. I tried to look but it is 11PM--I'll wait 'til morning. You must have an excellent camera---well it is you too and I remember what camera you have. I think I am just rambling and should go to bed. 'Night. MB

Such a wonderful macro. I how much life a little ant can bring to a photo.
Very interesting ants. Amazing detail you were able to get.Darla
your peonies are a lot further along than mine, I don't have any buds on mine yet......Great shots by the way,Gill
if i were an ant and i had to pick a flower i would pick a peony. my friends and i would hang out on that flower like it was a resort.
Fantastic! Congratulations for so perfect shot!Léia
Thank goodness! I've seen peonies not bloom because of lack of ants. I like the little hairs on the ant's bottoms, too. lol
Now, that's a close close-up macro if I ever saw one!
That's vivid and bright. EG, if you would like to know what these ants are thinking, please drop by for a visit.
Ooh, what a great macro - I love it! Insect photography is probably my favourite. :)
