The blue of the water is so blue in contrast to the frozen white edges. MB

I like how the bubbly surf meets the snowy shore shown in your captures. No matter how cold it gets, life seems brighter when the sun shines through. :)

Beautiful shoreline with the contrast of blue sunny skies and the white...? I assume that is not sand but snow and ice? brrrrrrr!

B-b-b-b-beautiful, all the same!

hm, strange, just realised that I never seen a Huge vater surface in wintershroud. It looks like an ocean but I know it is a big lake.

Hope everything is OK as you needed some peace. :)

I really like this picture. The ice-covered rocks match the wave crashing on shore. Absolutely beautiful.

Great composition and even though I know it is very cold it is somehow soothing as well.
I really like this one!

What gorgeous colours! Cold looking though!
I can't tell the difference between 72 and 300 on the blog so maybe I should go for the 72. Thanks for the advice!

Wow that is so foreign to me today, it is a summer stinker 100 degrees today. Thanks for your kind words on my blog

Hi there, I have nothing against your frozen lakeside either although I would not necessarily like to go in for a swim.
A lovely view and a great place for a brisk walk.

I'm excited to be reading War and Peace with you, I'm posting my first mid-week blues tomorrow. I've enjoyed your pictures so much I thought I'd try it.

It looks like it is still snowing at your side of the country. It's mid January now, and its really hot here at my place, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Beautiful photo of yours. Wonder how is it like to experience winter.
Have a nice day.

Great minds think alike. My post for Watery Wednesday is also one of Lake Ontario.
The bandshell on my blog is located in the park behind Pickering's City Hall.
