Holland Marsh Canal/ Scenic Sunday

Looking over the canal  to a hilly field and woods with bare branches

Possibly more green grass to be seen after yesterday's torrential rain, but it actually SNOWED today! Yikes! Spring, where are you? Another lovely scene captured by Ms EG.

What a lot of wonderful layers and textures. This shot almost looks like it could be a painting. I hope that some greenery and color arrives soon in your parts.

The rolling hills convey a sense of peace.

There's a Maya Lin installation on the UM campus called "wave field (http://www.engin.umich.edu/newscenter/feature/ncart/wavefield0/index.html) that this reminds me of.

With all that water, the landscape should be greening up soon. Such a pretty variety of textures and depth. Painterly!
