Stouffville/Scenic Sunday

Reservoir Souffville, Ontario

Yesterday there was still ice still on the reservoir. (But it's melted around the edges!!) Meanwhile the willows are turning yellower, preparing to leaf out.

Beautiful scenery (perfect for the meme!) and I'm rather impressed how cold it still is over there. Here spring has been shining for the last few days!
God bless you!

A lovely shot! Your photos arouse my nostalgia for the teenage years I spent in Ontario, so I aways enjoy my visits to your page...:)

Looks really nice there. Is there a walking trail around the reservoir?

Georgeous contrast of colors. Peaceful beyond words. Love it.

I really like the different shades of brown in this pretty picture. But I imagine you're looking forward to the day when the skim of ice is gone for good.

it's a good notice about those willows. I love that time, because I know that when I see them coloring, it's almost time. at least, the time is near....

EG girl .. I am running behind everyone .. eeekkk !
When I first saw this shot I thought it looked like an Autumn setting : )
That is a beautiful area to catch some nature pictures .. and with the warmer temps that ice has to be melting even faster now ! We had thunder showers yesterday and showers today with warm temps .. Spring is catching up finally ?
Love the shot!

Those reeds will turn green soon? We have a family joke, whenever my mum's family sees a swamp like this, there first statement, "There is bound to be eggs."
