Blackberry Blossoms/ Macro Monday

Blackberry blossom in the York Regional Forest

The blossoms were beautiful and there were so many of them. Now the petals have fallen to the forest floor and the berries are growing.

remember the location, and go back in the late summer with your containers, then make blackberry and apple pie!

Yes, go back and gather the berries, but first take some pictures.

What beautiful little petals on the blossoms...so dainty and sweet. It won’t be long now before the berries start coming in for the picking. Beautiful macro shot. Genie

The blossoms that precede the fruit are always so beautiful one hates to see them disappear.

I'm glad to see they are still coming. I also use them to dye yarns! I tend to try to get the ones that are soft and won't tempt me to eat them!

The blossom almost looks like it's made of Japanese handmade paper. Beautiful macro, EG.

Beautiful macro shot--so clear and sharp. Such a pretty little flower too. Enjoy the blackberries when they ripen. Mickie :)
