Swallowtail/Sunday Best

Eastern tiger swallowtail

Yesterday, tiger swallowtails and other butterflies seemed to be following my husband and I as we walked in the  York Regional Forest. Truth be told, though, there were a LOT of butterflies.

I envy you such an excess of butterflies. I rarely get that many to choose from, so I usually miss.

PS Thank you for the nice comments!

I don't know why I'm not seeing more swallowtails this year as I usually have a lot. Love your shot of this one.

You're very fortunate to be blessed by butterflies on a nice summer's day. We have swallowtails here, but I haven't seen any yet this summer.

Re your question on Ocala: No, Beef O'Brady's does not deliver so far as I know...I think the van is simply an advertising gimmick!

Great shot, I have seen a lot of them around my garden. I have a habit of just enjoying them instead of trying to get their picture. See you Tuesday.

Butterflies can be so colorful and beautiful. I planted the yard of my home in Florida with plants that attract butterflies. It was a treat to see them.
