Chickadee Parent

 Chickadee with worms

A chickadee family is living in a birdhouse in my garden. Here one parent is sitting in a mulberry tree on its way with worms to the nest.

Watching me, wishing I'd go away...so I did

I am linking to Saturday Critters HERE.

This one looks like it's worked up a sweat doing the grocery shopping.

Poor parents they certainly run themselves ragged feeding the babies. MB

Super shots of this perky little bird. What would a chickadee be without a worm?

I don't think I've ever got a picture of a bird with a worm in its beak. Good catch.

Fabulous, EG! It looks like it must have been a windy day judging by its rumpled feathers.

Little birds have to work so hard at this time of year to feed their families. Those are some lovely shots.

Such a cutie! We had a pair of blackbirds that nested in the yard this year. It was fun to watch the little ones learn to fly. :)
The momma didn't like us looking too much either, though!

Great how the little birds eat up lots of caterpillars and other bugs.
Chickadees brighten our winters, and help us all summer long. Wonderful.
