Dogs on Parade

On a mission to keep walking

Last Saturday I attended the Mount Albert Santa Claus Parade. A few canines participated in the parade and here's a small sampling.

Checking out the photographer (and everyone else on the sidelines  too)

Walking with grace and dignity

I am linking to Saturday Critters HERE.

Oh, yeah! All decked out for the holidays. Spike (middle photo), though, I think could do with an attitude check. :-)

Haha! Love the expression on doggy numer one 's face, it's like 'what are YOU smiling at' :)

Awwww, such cuties! I love the little guy's Santa Suit.

Now number one and number three look so happy on the parade, but the other one looks unhappy about being photographed. Maybe he would rather be at home chewing on a bone?

The First two got it ... eyes on the camera, the little Sheltie though ... this was serious business. Very cute, all of them.

They are all cute, but ever since I saw the TV show, "Lassie," I'm partial to collies! Never had one, though.

Sweet babies. They had a similar event in my neck of the woods. I should have gone. You took some fine pics.

Glad you liked the "sapsucker". ;-))

That looks like so much fun!!!

I wish we had something like that here. I doubt my dogs would have been behaved enough to attend something like that. Lol! Although.. our little Abby might have been okay with it. She loves anything outdoors.

You can actually get a sense of how fast they are walking. Their outfits are awesome, too! The dog in the middle, I love the little jester's bell collar.

Cutie pies strutting their stuff...willing to put up with the human costumes to get out and about. I think it's time to pull out our poochie's Santa hat again...

Poor things. Ummmm, now that that's said (no offense meant), if I had to choose, I'd take number 2!

The first one's look says, "I'm busy. The faster I walk, the faster I get to remove the sweater."

Doggie #1 looks like he could fit into the Grinch movie somewhere. I wouldn't want to mess with dog #2, but the Collie looks like a sweet dog.

Oh how sweet!

Happy!

So, in Ontario can a pet owner who dresses up a dog be brought up on charges?

(The last dog has a royal strut despite his wardrobe.)
