Lamp Shadow

Lamp and shadow on front door

This building looks like it might have been a church at one time. I've tried to find information on Google, though, and the address is listed as a home. If it's a home now, it's a BIG one.

 More shadows, including door trim

Today I'm showing you only the doors on the front entrance, which have recently been painted. They used to be a rusty hue quite similar to the colour of the brick.

The door

I am linking to Shadow Shot Sunday 2 HERE.

Love the twirl. I never get tired of looking at shadows. I think they are often the poetry of a thing.

Gosh I hope you took a photo of the whole building? I love the door the lamp and the wreath. Have a happy Sunday.

I think you wait until the sun is in just the right spot to go out and take these shadow shots!

If the lamp was hanging down loosely would you have a limp lamp shadow?

Very graceful, elegant shadows. Everything about that door says Church.

whatever it is, if the rest of the building is as pretty as the front door it must be very lovely indeed.

That is a very solid door. Maybe it is a huge family that lives there.

I think you're right-it looks like it used to be a small church.

It does look like a church. If it has been turned into a home, I'd love to see inside! Well, I'd love to see inside whatever it is. :) Wonderful photos!

Pretty door against that red brick!

So nice! The shadows are great. And the whole door looks very interesting: hinges on two sides and an unconventional looking door pull.

It looks like it might be a beauty of a house or even a church. Would like to have a doorway like that.

I would love to share the Wild Blackberry Jam with you. Maybe this summer we both could pick some.

I love the old buildings. We have a church nearby, turned into a home. This is more common out here!

I love the lantern and the newly painted front door. Wouldn't it be interesting to see inside if it's now been made into a home?
