Fan Shapes

 Fancy country fencing

This fence is in front of a property on a busy country road. I really like the fan shapes made of cedar, which I think look very attractive in this setting, although it would be a bit much around my house.

Fence from the other side

Shhh! I walked up the driveway a few steps to take a photo from the back side. As you can see there's a woods across the road. The house is set way back in - so far back that I couldn't see it. So I doubt they saw me...unless they had a hidden camera.

Very decorative, wouldn't keep my little digger out though, lol. Beautifully captured!

This is a friendly fence that would not keep much in or out … including photographers. I think its creator is somewhat of an artist.

It may not keep anything in or out, but it sure is pretty.

That's a cool fence. I think it would require a pretty big piece of land.

I like the use of natural pieces of wood, perhaps from the woods across the street.

They look 'fan'tastic EG, not surd if they'll keep things in.. or out :)

I love this unique style of fencing and being rustic at the same time.

I guess they wouldn't keep the dog in, but they sure are nice to look at.

Hi glad to visit from Good Fences link up and see your very unique fence photo! I love the fan shape! Great post !

Very decorative but a lot of open slacks. So maybe it is not a real fence per-say for keeping a dog in.

I like it though.

Never seen a fence like this one before.
I have to give it to you - you are brave, Tina.
I would be afraid of dogs in the country (though I love dogs).
Have a Wonderful Day!
Peace :)

Hi Tina, The thing that's cool about this one is that it's DIFFERENT! Kind of like the one I posted. This "Good Fences" meme has an entire cadre of photographers out looking for the neatest fence. Nice post!

I'm sure this fence's only purpose is to be decorative and it sure succeeds at that!
