Three Swans-a-swimming

Swan Family

The one in the middle is a juvenile and I suspect the one in front is the mom and the one in back is the pop taking watch over the rest of his family.

Some birds stay in Canada for the winter!

I am joining Wednesday Waters HERE.

Nice shot Camera Girl. Frenchman's Bay is now frozen over and the swans have moved on. Yesterday I counted 5 fishing huts on the bay.

It seems some birds don't feel the nead to go away anymore.

glad you kept well away as swans can be nasty when there are young ones about. Cute photo.

Wonderful reflections. Just like the 3 bears, only less dangerous and a lot prettier.

Great shots of these swans...in my mind I can hear music and see them swimming to it. Some kind of graceful type of music.

Love the sharp clarity of these shots. Maybe you could send us some real birds this winter and we'll send back some "snow birds" which are slowly taking over the landscape down here!

Beautiful! I love the young ones color. There's a lake a couple of hours away where swans winter. I'm hoping to go this winter and see them. Your images make me want to go even more!
