Early September/Nature Notes

In my September garden

It had been quite cool here but NOW we are now into a heatwave.  This year the weather sure has been moody with it's ups and downs!

In the largest square, a juvenile hummingbird visits a peanut feeder. It didn't sample any peanuts but it sure was curious.

Moving clockwise, I seem to have a lot of pinks in my September gardens, a colour that appears to mesmerize hummers; hollyhock, Echinacea, Chelone, Japanese anemone and variegated obedient plant,

Please visit Michelle at Rambling Woods for more NATURE NOTES.

  8. Beautiful nature collage. We were the same way having much cooler weather and then it got hot. I'm guessing your cool weather was cooler than ours but still the pattern sounds the same.

  9. A terrific collage. Love the hummer. I had one at my peanut feeder as well, strange, it completely ignored the hummingbird feeder!
