1938 Ford
I wonder what the original owner of this old car would say if he saw it painted yellow. I bet he'd be surprised that it's still on the road!

This car was at the Country Cruise-in I went to a couple of weeks ago.

As you can see, the car is in good shape all arond.
In celebration of the old and wonderful "stuff", I am connecting to Rubbish Tuesday HERE.
Regardless of colour, it's a classic.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely wants to be noticed.
ReplyDeleteI think it is a fabulous car - and what a no plate - great stuff - good pics to - best wishes - Jane UK
ReplyDeleteExcellent! Yellow is such a happy color too :)
ReplyDeleteImpossible to miss. Looks so hot!
ReplyDeleteIt is a great old classic but while yellow works in a flower it doesn't do so for a car.
ReplyDeleteGreat old car. You couldn't miss that yellow paint.

I doubt you could have found a yellow one back in the day. This one is gorgeous, though. My uncle had an old shell back in the woods. Too bad it wasn't revived before it rusted away. Thanks for linking up!
ReplyDeleteI simply love that happy yellow color.

It certainly stands out in any parking lot!
ReplyDeleteMy son had a bright yellow car, the car's name was "Mustard". His wife's car was red.... yes, she called it "Ketchup"!
very cool! :)
ReplyDeletemy favorite of all the OLD cars is 36 through 38... love the look.. i like mine candy apple red or shiny black, but yellow is pretty to and i will take it in any color... except army green..
ReplyDeleteA bit too yellow me thinks.
ReplyDeleteI think it's terrific, but it would have been scandalous back in the day. I remember reading the Anne of Green Gables series (not that specific title), and everyone was appalled when they painted a house blue. Times and tastes change.
ReplyDeleteClassic!!! Love it--want it! MB
ReplyDeleteMy husband said it is a fascinating classic car before going to bed p;)
ReplyDeleteNight Night, EG;
Sending you lots of Love and Hugs from Japan, xoxo Miyako*

ReplyDeleteMy late dad would have loved this car!
ReplyDeleteGreat shot of the old ford. I wonder what the owner would think of the color too. I think it's fun but I'm afraid if it was mine I'd go with basic black.
ReplyDeletei love the color. ( :
ReplyDeleteGreat looking car.
ReplyDeleteIt is simply gorgeous!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a cool car! Not only would the owner be shocked at the color it's been painted, but also, most likely would be amazed at what cars cost these days.
ReplyDeleteYowzer! She's a real beauty now!
ReplyDeletean old beauty for sure ... and I bet that yellow would have been scandalous...
ReplyDeleteOMYGOSH...I'm IN LOVE...
ReplyDeleteTHIS is the kind of "rubbish" I really love. lol
that is one spectacular car!
ReplyDeleteHe would probably be aghast! On the good side, however, it would be an easy car to spot in a big parking lot!
ReplyDeleteReally nice photos! This ford is beautiful and that is one big and shiny chrome grill.
