Shadows on Brick
I'm a big fan of the shadows gingerbread makes on older homes.
Longer view
This was likely a rather posh home at one time but now I believe it has been divided into apartments. The owner appears to be keeping the outside in pretty good condition.
I am linking to Shadow Shot Sunday 2 HERE.
This one's a very pretty house.

What a great old house and terrific shadow shots for the day, too!! You do find the great ones!! The rains have arrived in Portland today!! Glad there's nowhere that I need to go beyond my desk!!! Enjoy the remainder of your weekend!!
ReplyDeleteI hope they continue to maintain such a fine house.
ReplyDeleteVery attractive details.
ReplyDeleteI have loved your captures of gingerbread shadows. Love the detail in the shadow that is less obvious in the real thing.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a fine house with a lot of hidden secrets. Greetings!
ReplyDeletenice architectural detail.
ReplyDeleteVery sweet shadows on that beautiful brick! A lovely capture!
ReplyDeleteThey look to be well kept.
ReplyDeleteGreat shadows. Thumbs up. Really enjoyed the older home. The color of the brick is pretty.
ReplyDeleteWhen little, I thought the story of the Gingerbread boy rolling down the street was kinda scary.
ReplyDeleteI love the trim and the tiny window makes me want to see what kind of room is behind it.
ReplyDeleteI too like gingerbread trim on houses whether it casts shadows or not.
ReplyDeleteThank you for your comment on my post.
I know you're a gingerbread person but it's been awhile since you've posted any of it so this is nice to see. And very beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI love it, and don't you just love the way the windows are done?
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, both in physical/matter and spirit/shadow.
ReplyDeleteLovely Victorian, the exquisite and complicated trim the best part. And in brick - the victorians in this area are as lovely, but none seem to have been clad in brick. Nice to see its exterior maintained so nicely :)
ReplyDeletenice trim!
ReplyDeleteI love these details!
ReplyDeleteI like the facade work.
ReplyDeleteThose windows are really beautiful.
Lovely wall and beautiful shadows.
ReplyDeleteHave a happy weekend.
It is a very pretty front to this house and I love the different coloursof the bricks
ReplyDeleteI love the trim, I love the windows, I love the architecture, most of all I love the clarity and beauty of your photos
ReplyDeleteWonderful details EG, beautifully shown here.
ReplyDeleteIt is so pretty to see especially when it is so well maintained, EG! Have a good Thanksgiving dinner today - I'm having one today & another tomorrow.
