Diplomatic Plates/ Ruby Tuesday

Most Ontario licence plates are blue on white, but diplomatic plates are RED. Hmmm. I wonder who was in that car ahead of us!

Everytime I see the special car plates, too, I wonder who's inside. =)

Never thought about license plates. Great shot, who's inside?

It would have been interesting to know who was in the car. Probably a secretary out to get lunch.
:-D

The license plate says "yours to discover". Now I am getting curious.
In Europe the diplomats are riding with CD plates.- French for Corps Diplomatique. French is the international language of diplomats, while the rest of us use English to get around the world.
I've gotta come back to find out more about those plates!

I don't see that many Ontarians traveling in Connecticut, but the crown stands out nicely in the middle of the plate.

Although don't some of the plates carry the tagline "Keep it Beautiful"?

They can't be big spending diplomats necessarily. It is a Toyota, not a Rolls-Royce they're driving!

Very clever catch!
I would have had to try and pass them to see if I recognized anyone. :)

Yup,me too! I always wonder who's inside the car! :) Who knows anyways! Mine is posted HERE. Happy RT!~

In Spain the same diplomatic have RED plates...

Perhaps it was a spy... or a sultan... or some equally exotic character. Do they allow diplomats immunity from parking tickets in your city, like they do in New York?

Ralph,
The old plates, which some of still have on our cars (tee hee), say Keep it Beautiful. The new ones say Yours to Discover. ;-)

Could be practically anyone I would guess. Wouldn't the cars from foreign embassies or missions also carry Ontarian registration? You might have been driving behind the foreign minister from any country that has diplomatic relations with Canada.

Some diplomat I bet! *g* Great find!

Great photo

Most of the diplomats here drive these huge Lincoln Town Cars so I appreciate the Corolla :)
