The bees love the Rose of Sharon bushes and a few weeks ago there were so many that when you sat on the porch you could hear the bushes humming. Zillions I tell ya--LOL MB
Oh wow, what a beautiful portrait. I could drown in these eyes! Is it me or did he/she get a little bit cross with you? There is something like " come on, get it over with!" in these eyes, no?
I don't quite know what lifts this one out of the ordinary .. maybe the lighting, maybe the lower angle of the shot. Maybe the tight crop. Whatever it is, it works very well!
East Gwillimbury is a rural town less than an hour north of Toronto, Canada's largest city.
My family calls me CameraGirl because I take my camera with me wherever I go.

What a beautiful macro -- I really like this.
In answer to your question, yes, my family is from the South and fought in the Confederate army.
Oh how nice - love the cat. He/She looks so tender :)
Toady the cat has gorgeous eyes, but it's best probably not to say too much; cat's have big enough egos the way it is...
Lovely shot of a lovely creature!
better than toady's eyes....toady's name. i love it.
Beautiful macro. All the hairs and whiskers are plain as day.
I invite you to stop and look at my Canon camera photographs. They are some of the best I can or have taken. My Canon Blog
What a cool close-up shot! You really did a great job
oh, pretty . . . . kitty!
Beautiful picture! I don't think any of my cats would be still enough for a macro shot... plus they would all have a very irritated expression.
Phenomenal shot!!! I love the detail, and the lighting!!
Magnificent, you are a great photographer!Fabulous cat's eyes!
Léia :)
Fabulous shot of Toady the cat... WOW!!!!
Hugs,
Betsy
Great photo. Is it yours?
Very close - exactly how kitties like to be. :)
Toady. What a sweet name for a cat. I always think of the character in Wind in the Willows.
Toady's eyes are spectacularly honest.
Nice kitty. Meowwwww!!!!
Is that your reflection I see in his eyes.
Pretty kitty! Meow, meow!
Good capture...it is hard for me to capture my cats. They don't sit still long enough.
Love the focus on his nose and whiskers.
Wow - intense eyes.
Lovely macro of Toady's eyes. Methinks there must be a story behind that name ;--)
Hugs and blessings,
Great close-up of Toady
Very nice! I swear I see the world in her eyes!

That seems a bit TOO close for my liking - great shot though.

B.
Such a nice shot.
I won't tell you how many times I read this before I realized the cat's name was "toady" and not "today"
Love your photos - even though I don't comment on every one, I do enjoy scrolling back through to see them.
That's a great feline portrait. Lovely eyes!
