I would say the tree spirits!

Do you have any idea of the real story behind this?

I think Winnie the Pooh got a new door for his house.

I think elves make cookies in there! That is too funny.

What a hoot!

It's probably where Jacob hides from them Florida gators...

Hmmm, hard to say & kinda strange! Very bright red, though!

I think that maybe Snow White's pals, those wild and crazy seven dwarfs. Or perhaps the one true groundhog, the door thoughtfully provided so he can see his shadow more easily. It houses a fun inhabitant for sure!

As soon as I scrolled down I smiled. What a magical shot! I so want one.
I liked George's reference to Pooh.
But like Rose I wonder about the real story but I do like just imagining.

Oh how cute... You find the neatest things to take pictures of, EG... AND --that one is perfect for Ruby Tuesday...

I think it is an Episcopal Church inside that tree... Did you know that most Episcopal Churches have RED doors????? Ha ha ha

Such a great little house. I'd go for forest gnomes.

I'm pretty sure it's Pooh. Or Owl. Or Eeyore. Or maybe Piglet?

What a great catch! Where did you find this?

Who lives there? Well, it's a hoity-toity tree surgeon. Who else?

Re: your question on Cedar Key scene - Yes, of course. Somewhere.

That is seriously cool! Looks like the perfect home for elves or wood sprites. :)

Jeri ~ said...

I've heard of the place...it's where the Keebler elves make the cookies!!

Small City Scenes said...

It couldn't be a Leprechaun because the door would be green so it must be a teeny tiny munchkin's house.
Where did you find this? MB

Kathy said...

What a surprise as I scrolled down.

EG CameraGirl said...

Rose, MB,

This tree is in a back yard that can be seen (and photographed) from a country road I've never travelled on before (that I remember, anyway).

Gemma Wiseman said...

Strange! At first I thought this looked like a cartoon outline added to the tree and landscape after the photo was taken! The outline is so defined! A very odd odd shot!

Paulie said...

I thought it was a piece of art but since it is in someone's backyard, it holds the lawnmower. . . just the lawnmower, no rakes because there are no leaves left to drop on that tree.
