Neat picture. It brings up two questions. Did the couple know you were photographing them? Were you standing in water? I'm thinking you were using a long lens and the answer to both is no. ???
Me again - Re your comments on Ocala DP - I knew it wasn't ivy, but "fern-ied" walls just didn't sound right...
Actually the wall faces south. I've been by this place many times and never noticed the greenery...it's an old building by our standards, but I can't imagine it's good for the brick to have that stuff growing in between them...
East Gwillimbury is a rural town less than an hour north of Toronto, Canada's largest city.
My family calls me CameraGirl because I take my camera with me wherever I go.

Hi Kathy,
No, they did not know. I prefer candid shots over staged ones. And I did zoom in on them. :)
I lived near the Wye Marsh for about 10 years of my life. If only I had seen a photo like this---I would actually have gone there.
I wonder were they boyfriend/girlfriend, just friends or what. They were probably discussing life and solving the world's problems....
One could write a short story or novel based upon this photograph! What a delight. Takes me way, way back to my youth!
Perfectly poignant!

Have a great weekend!
What a perfect place to sit and ponder the mysteries of life. You captured great reflections and a wonderful picture.
I DO love the mood of your picture!! I find it very inspiring!there are many stories in that view.Great, great catch!!
There must be a book that goes with this, I certainly feel a story here. Love the little detail of the tennis shoes sitting behind the people.

Classic shot! This is really nice. The bridge supports remind me of pistons.
*sigh* the perfect weekend getaway!
so peaceful. wonder what they are thinking?
Ah, that looks relaxing. Like the sneakers on the dock and the feet dangling. Yes, the story could be on what they are discussing...
What a great place to sit for awhile! What a beautiful reflection that water holds...fabulous candid shot...that shows life as it really is.
I'm not sure I'll get any such nice sensations if I let my legs dangle right now! Lovely shot!
it looks like a poster for a movie
I wonder how cold it is there?
such a great capture!
What a terrific capture! Looks like a little teenage spring romance there! Great reflections! Have a great weekend!

That is so sweet, nostalgic and comforting.

What a sweet setting for this couple! Beautiful reflections!
Sweet! Though I doubt if they're seeing anything at all. ;)
Wishing you a wonderful weekend!
