Clover Closeup/ Macro Monday

Alsike clover

Look closely and you can see that each "blossom" is actually a cluster of many tube-shaped flowers. Some at the bottom of this cluster are already fading while some at the top are opening out.

I'm going to be on the look-out for this one.

As a children my friends and I used to pull those little tubes out one by one and suck on the sweetness at the end of the tube.

It looks like a painting! Wonderful capture.

sometimes we don't really see beauty unless we really look close.

Gorgeous details!

I don't think I've seen this particular brand of flower either. You have some very unique and beautiful flora in the northland!

Re your comment on Ocala: Rooms To Go has all kinds of furniture...decent stuff at a reasonable price. They like to sell whole rooms, thus the name, but you can buy any piece individually if you wish.

No easy-to-assemble, though.

ha! Those are fantastic. I have a photo I'm planning to post of a similar sculpture I found at our local recycling center

I like clover. Not on my lawn, since it tries to overtake the grass, but out on a field somewhere, it is fine. The clover blossoms on my lawn are white. It's neat to see them with color like this.

This is the first macro clover I have seen and I love it! I never really took a close look at one. They are pretty.
