Evening Swim/ Watery Wednesday

Mama and baby ducks heading off into the sunset

It was a warm June evening on Cook's Bay, Lake Simcoe, Ontario, when the ducks slipped into the water and headed westerly.

I could sit on that lovely bench and watch the ducks for ages. I think the little ones are so cute the way they follow Momma everywhere.

I love the orange and silver bands of colors in the water, so beautiful (and romantic:) )

I think all souls, ducks included, were more interested in watching the sun set than taking a dip.

Love the comp.

What a cool shot. Send this to VP for his Bunch of Benches blog.

So, who's the young lady watching the ducks?

Re your comment on Stone Creek - yes, we have lots of sand. Lot of sand on Florida beaches. You will also find many people in Florida with heads full of sand (and nothing else!)

I love so much about this shot. The ducks heading off into the sunset, the person to add a little extra life into the shot and the great resting bench in silhouette. Love it.

I thought the lady is contemplating to take a dip. Ah...the ducks!

But I would also enjoy sitting on the bench watching the sun go down!
