Idle/ Watery Wednesday

A beautiful Friday morning

It seemed lonely for this sailboat but in a few more hours, weekend would arrive.  Activity! Motor boats and other water craft, swimmers. picnickers...

Beautiful, serene, I wish I were climbing in for a sail, instead of leaving for work. ;(

Meet you at the end of the dock, we'll sail over to the far shore.

It looks like what happens here when the tide goes out. Everything is left high and dry for a few hours. LOL MB

I would much prefer to have this beauty than any motorboat. This is a wonderful picture for Watery Wednesday.

Hope the lonely boat found some company. So many sit unused, years even at a time. Brings to mind the two happiest moments of a man's life: the day he buys his boat, and the day he sells it. Not necessarily in that order.

hahaha ! C'est un bateau qui ne veut pas se mouiller, celui-là...

It almost looks odd sitting up out of the water like that. Nice shot.

Fantastic! I'd love to be on that water. I used to love boats but now I live in the middle of a very dry area.

Looks like James Bon sailed in it and landed high and dry.

It does look lonely out of the water like that. Glad to know it'll be having lots of fun soon. :)

That is an interesting shot. :-) First thing I thought was if it were waiting for high tide to float again. Here is my entry.

Funny what 'Tsuki said, a boat that doesn't want to get wet... :-D This is a serene spot that will soon come alive for end-summer fun...

Auckland has more boats per head than any where else.

My non boat owner told me, " Look at all those boats in the marina. people spent all their money on buying their boats, then they have no money to sail the boats because they have to work many jobs to pay the bank. or to pay for the gas."

Your photo makes me think of that.

Even sailboats need a rest. And a bit of drying off!

Someone left it there? Wouldn't they be afraid someone would steal it?

Interesting sky I noticed, it seems to be of different colours isn't it?

Good day!

Beautiful shot, but it does seem like the boat should be in the water.
