Squirrel/ Camera Critters

Squirrel snacking on tree seeds

When I first arrived, there was a family of squirrels in this tree. The rest took off when they saw me. I'm thinking this must be a young,  inexperienced squirrel!

To join in the fun, visit Misty Dawn at CAMERA CRITTERS.

Or maybe he was a very wise one and knew you would do him no harm. Great shot.

I have two squirrels running around chasing one another just outside my window at the moment, keeping Molly out of mischief watching them!!

One animal I don't see much up here in the woods are squirrels, although on occasion I will see a Douglas Squirrel but in a flash they are gone. Little guys. MB

Perhaps he was just so hungry that he thought he would risk having that human with a camera on his nose looking at him. ;) Seriously, it's a great image! Good catch.

Must be a squirrel kind of day - you're the 3rd blog I've read so far to feature a squirrel. He's a beauty.

Nah, this squirrel knows you're no threat! And he's very hungry.

Maybe he thought if he turned his back and couldn't see you that you couldn't see him. :)
Great shot!

Looks like he is still wearing his winter coat - maybe we are in for a late spring!

Nice fella to allow such a closeup. Great shot. I'm sick of snow, but still see the beauty in it.
