Collectibles/Weekend Reflections

Reflections in windows outside a collectibles shop

While my husband scours shops for antiques and collectibles, I hunt for photo ops.

The window is reflecting so much that it almost looks like a painting. I also look for things to photograph while the better half shops.

It's good that you work together; makes for great opportunities for both of you. Looks like a good old=fashioned street light.

Beautiful. There is something about that shade of blue with the white and brown that seems to be catching my eye these days.

I agree with what Andy said. It does look like a painting. Love the lamp. Well love it all. MB

I think what it is that is being relected - the lamp standard - is what makes this picture work more than if it was something a bit more mundane. Well done.

Nice reflections! They look like framed paintings.

Shapes are wonderful...and those colors just pop! Each time I see an image like this, I want to visit a city with photo ops.

Super colour and reflections. I'd stick to hunting for photos - far cheaper!

Sounds like the perfect compromise, though I wonder if you're "shopping" is a little easier on the wallet than his.

You are assured of finding artful and creative reflections in a shop like this. Plus, the reflective surface is not the usual plain mirror. Great shot and it almost looks like a watercolor.

bon weekend,
Genie
