CDP Theme Day

Umbrella-shaped gazebo

City Daily Photo Theme Day: UMBRELLAS

Given that umbrellas are not very common in rural Ontario during the winter months, I'm stretching the umbrella theme to "umbrella shape", which I am stretching even further because this gazebo is only sort-of umbrella shaped. But hey! It has ribs and the roof does protect people from inclement weather.

Lovely gazebo & I like your umbrella interpretation! Umbrellas are rare here too, no one really needs them in winter. I will need to stretch too:)

I love thosekind of umbrellas by the water. You would be hard pressed to hold on to an umbrella today.B

Nothing like an amazing gazebo to spice up a beautiful area. I enjoy hanging out at these places after a birding trek. Happy Thursday!

Good interpretation---it's a good thing we all can use our imagination. MB

I too love gazebos, and this would be a fine one for family gatherings!

I love gazebos - there's on at Pondside. I think if I moved I'd build another gazebo right away.

There is a certain allure that gazebos have for me. Oh, excuse me--I meant "umbrellas." ;-)

There is a nice one in my town that I've used for portraits.
