On a snowy but warmish day (last Wednesday), these horses were out enjoying some fresh late February air. It was snowing...but not heavily.
I am linking to Friday Fences here.
one of your COOLEST clicks. beautiful, the blankets little bit of color makes it magical. i bet the owners of the horses would love to have this photo. it would make a beautiful Christmas card
This is a wonderful capture, as though both horses are posing for you. I think the colors they are wearing also add to the interest of the photo, as well as the snow. Beautiful!
They certainly were nice to pose for you.....they must like paparazzi! It may be because all the horse I try to shoot are country bumpkins, but it seems all I ever get is horse butt! lol
East Gwillimbury is a rural town less than an hour north of Toronto, Canada's largest city.
My family calls me CameraGirl because I take my camera with me wherever I go.

What a classic! Love the photo and especially like those spring outfits.
Oh I love this. All dressed up in their coats in the storm. Very cool. B
They look cute in their blankies!
I love how they both have the same stance and the same level of alertness. Like mirror images facing the same direction.
Love this photo! The snow and the alertness of the horses are so appealing!
Lovely EG -- warm is a state of mind. :)
Oh, how very delightful!
Love this! They're watching you carefully, maybe thinking you'll put them in a nice, warm barn?
We wrap our horses here, too, on our bitter cold days.
Despite the snow,(or maybe because of it?!) they look like they are having fun!
Great composition, the pastel blankets are just the right touch.

I like this a lot. They look like they are expecting an apple to appear from the camera person.
I love this shot! The horses are beautiful, and look very alert in spite of the snow.
A classic and post card shot! They look so cute with their "coats"!

Lovely shot!
So beautiful under snow with their covers! i like this shot, wonderful !
Some pretty swirling snow, wrapped up horses and wood fences...it's a gorgeous rural-looking scene!
I love all snowy images, but that's coming from a Southern girl! :-)
The pink and green add a special something to the image as well!
The snow really makes this special! I love how they are looking at you.
Que coisa mais linda!!ADOREI! beijos e FELIZ DIA DAS MULHERES amanhã, dia 8! chica
Parading with their new designer clothes! :-)
the horses were out enjoying February IN THEIR COATS!
Very nice photos!
Ditto so many of the other comments: the alertness, the similar stance, the pastel coats, the snow. A perfect shot! Well done!
Horsing around... just a couple of flakes.
Beautiful snow shot.
They seem pretty happy. I don't know the first thing about taking care of horses but I like seeing the owners protect them a little from the elements.
They certainly were nice to pose for you.....they must like paparazzi! It may be because all the horse I try to shoot are country bumpkins, but it seems all I ever get is horse butt! lol
It looks just like they are posing for you!
=)
They are gorgeous, wonderful portrait!

A stunning photo. Well done you.
I feel sorry for them but they probably don´t care about the weather. Nice shot, fences and all.
love their coats. hope they are warm & cozy. ( :
Very nice wintery shot...love the colorful blankets on the horses...they really pop
Pink and mint-green coats are very in this early spring as those two beautiful models show. Greetings from Warsaw.
oooh, I get chill bumps just looking at those horses all covered with snow. I know they don't get all that cold... least I think they don't.
They look pretty comfy in their warm blankets!
Oh my, this is wonderful, just wonderful!
So glad they had on their winter coats!
I so love this hot of horses in the snow!
