End of November

 Slow-flowing creek

Gloomy skies tend to dominate November over Ontario but when the sun shines, it can be quite lovely.

Ice, snow and elk treated almost as pets

Now too tame to live in the wild, these elk will live out their lives within the confines of this fenced-in area. It's a large field with a bush in the back.

Ice and snow, but creek still flowing

I am Linking to Mosaic Monday HERE

I love that slow-flowing creek, and how the ice and snow will soon take over the rest of the flowing water. Very good!

I love the muted colours at this time of year though they're so difficult to catch with the camera. You seem to have succeeded here though!

Lovely photos...so sad that the elk ( and much of our wildlife all over ) are losing their habitat

I wonder how the elk came to be in protected living conditions? Maybe they fill in as reindeer somewhere this month. ;-)

I love your first photo with the slow flowing creek and the dry grass bending in the breeze - quite magical.

The creek looks very pretty with the shine of water surrounded by the flash of white. I like your collage too, it works well.

Love your photos and have a feeling like I really want to paint your slow-flowing creek photo. Just spectacular! Who gets into a pen with elk? Holy smokes, I'd be terrified; come to think of it I WAS once when I came face to face with one in Banff. Those guys are huge! A little sad but also lovely to have them in a pen though to photograph when ever. :) Hope you have a most wonderful week ahead EG girl and big hugs to you.
