Light Standard

 Shadow, Rotary Park in Ajax

Rotary Park on the shore of Lake Ontario is a great place for cycling, hiking, enjoying nature and fresh air. And the day we were there was a bright sunny day.

The light standard that cast the shadow

I would have thought it a set of scales from the shadow; great capture!

I was going to write a comment about scales and then saw the previous comment. So I'll add that the shadow looks like tipping scales. Good one.

Hi Tina, I think this is the first time I've seen the Shadow Shot Sunday 2 meme. Neat idea and link up! Light standards and shadows ... it takes an artist to come up with an interesting photo ... nice work!

Terrific, sharp, clear shadows and different looking street lamps!! Such a great capture for the day! Hope you have a beautiful day and a great new week!!

Lovely capture, and sort of reminds me that life in the shadows is not always what it appears.

I love the lights! They are very different! I would not be able to wait until dark to see them lit.

Compared to light posts in America, this is a work of art! The shadow did not prepare me for such a big object.

Yeah, sun! :-)

Nice shadow cast by the light standard. Kind of reminds me of the brooms that came to life in Disney's 'Sorcerer's Apprentice'.

Great shadows. I'm glad you showed the pretty fixture that cast the shadows too.

You can bet Lois Anne and I would spend a lot of time at the park, walking, biking, jogging (well, she'd be jogging, I'd be taking pictures!)
