The St. Elizabeth Seton Parish was built in the early 1990s. The church is named for Elizabeth Ann Seton, known as the mother of the parochial school system in the United States.
In this photo, the steeple rises 70 feet above ground level into a pure blue sky.

What a strange tower, I have never ever seen anything about it. Great also to read your words about this picture.
Thanks. And nice weekend.
We have a elizabeth Ann seaton catholic church here too. also built in the 1990 I think. Small world, eh? Isn't it weird that we have so much in common. but nice. MB
Very interesting and beautiful, great shot.
Not only a fantastic photo, but also some interesting facts.
The sky looks faultless. Nice.
I have never seen a steeple decorated this way. It really is beautiful!
Very unusual. Looks so pretty against that blue sky.
Very nice!
Love your picture..and I know the area very well. Everytime we drive to Lake Simcoe we stop for a cup of coffee.
Can't wait for a warmer day to visit again.
-Cheers.

Great photo, well done.
Great shot!
Really, why NOT put art on the steeple and not just inside the church?! It and your image of it are eye-catchers. Thanks for that.
That is a seriously great shot. I love the angles and the composition.
My SWF shots are on a post called `My Big Fat Creek Heading' - which has now been overtaken by three or four more recent posts!
