New Leaves in Spring
Remember when you were a kid (or maybe last fall if like me you haven't grown up yet) collecting leaves and pressing them between the pages of a book?
Well, I decided to collect some spring leaves this year...but with my camera. And LOOK! Young leaves are very beautiful too, don't you agree?

Totally beautiful!
Those are so pretty! Yes I used to collect leaves when I was a child and could identify a lot of different kinds but not any more. I guess I've just "lost it" lol.
These are great shots.. I was out on Monday taking shots of the light coming through new leaves.. I never thought of this.. it sure make a great collage.
Great collage! I love young leaves too, they are so colorful!
That fresh new green is so stunning... and the red... and the brown....

I do love collecting leaves! When my boys were small we would find different types of leaves and put paper over the leaves and take a crayon. Then color over the leaves for the imprint of the leave on the paper in crayon colors.
I agree. The young leaves are beautiful too.
Good photos.
I really like the collage of young leaves.
Great post.
