Yep, a pull toy almost as tall as a one-storey house! See the wheels? Someone must have
I think this mastodon is great. In fact, he'd look fabulous in my side yard. Or not.
And here's a side view -- just ignore the clutter in the background. ;-) I took the photo from the street because I didn't want to
FYI: This sculpture is not in East Gwillimbury, but in a town east of here. Not too, too far away though. ;-)
This post is doing double service: it's an Odd Shot and a Manic Monday BIG shot. ("big shot" LOL)

I think this is fabulous. I would pull that down any street in any parade for free. Wow. I am impressed. That person or persons has more imagination and creativity than most artists I know.
WOW! I would say you capture BIG and ODD! Fabulous!
Whoa! That's cool! And it'd look awesome being pulled down the street. ;D
Terrific sculpture. I kept looking at all the detail, the ear hinges you mentioned and that amazing trunk. Wonderful!
Darla
That IS odd!
Great Post love it.
Just added a comment on my blog explaining how the Pic was done.
What fun. I love peoples imagination and wonder if there was a reason for this. It's great. MB
I'm really impressed with your photos. I just started my own daily photo blog and like the large picture format as well. The mstadon is just too funny.

Brilliant! When I grow up I want a toy like that!!
I would love that pull-toy in my yard, and I would walk it around the block, too, every night!
amazing imagination to create such thing after a chunks of logs... and a little time to assembly it
That is one big efelunt.
EG, I'd really like to meet the people responsible for building that mastodon! :)
I thought I had seen everything, but apparently not! I think you should mail him to me!
The perfect odd shot. One marvels at the creativity and effort involved in producing this woody mammoth.
That is neat. I'm surprised that some jerk hasn't come around and messed with it...

well indeed it sure is odd but it looks great.
What a wonderful piece! So creative and , well, it has ATTITUDE! I wonder if someone rode inside or topside and made the ears move.
I am odd about flags, perhaps - but this cutter of wood is odder still. His mastodon is pretty odd too.
Holy Macaroni that's FABULOUS!
I wish he lived in my back yard.
Love it! That's the most creative thing I've seen in a long time! Wonderful find!
Geez that is awesome.
You should win a prize for your odd shot. That is about the oddest looking thing I've ever seen!
Fabulous!! It reminds me of those horse sculptures made of scraps of wood that I've seen in art museums all over the country.
What an awesome elephant! I just love it. Love your photos too.
Now that is Cooler than Cool
EG: What a great odd shot you got here. That is one of a kind.
