I love this old red truck. During most of the warm weather,
it's a lawn ornament it sits on the lawn beside the owner's driveway. It disappears in winter, I assume to hide in the garage from snow and ice. But during the two parades held annually in Mount Albert (Santa Claus and Sports Day parades), it's out and about in style.
Want to peek inside? Eek! How do you drive this thing?
To celebrate Ruby Tuesday, why not visit

That is a fabulous old red truck! I like it too...
Looks like it would be fun to climb in and about. But I wouldn't care to drive it. Great Ruby Tuesday pics.
Funny, what is the oil can on the floor board for I wonder? Nice and red!!
That's a neat old truck. I'd love to see it in the parade!
it's probably a bear of a vehicle to drive, we all need power steering and automatics these days...you had to really work to DRIVE this thing.
Maybe it has found its niche as a lawn ornament!
A neat relic to have, and it works!
I love the truck!
My Ruby Tuesday is Ruby Tuesday and Baby Boy Lost
nice shot !
That's nice ! a red truck !
Very vintage find! I'm sure it is garaged in winter to protect it from the elements.
What great red!
WOW! That's a nice RED Truck!
Mine's up if you got a chance, HERE!
what an interesting post! I really like these old trucks!
Dot, If I'm around for the Santa Claus Parade, I'll try to capture it with m camera. '-)
This is old! I love the old wheels on it. Great choice for sharing red today.
Love this old truck!
I'd love to put-put around in that red truck! I wonder how fast it goes?
Hi, just thought I'd come back to let you know that Disneyland in Anaheim California is referred to as "the happiest place on earth"
Have a great Tuesday...
It looks something like a Model-T truck.
What a great truck! Like one of the other posters, I noticed the oil can and wondered about it. Maybe it was often needed and someone wanted it to be handy.

I can tell you that this is going to be my favorite RT this week! Marvelous truck! I miss my own lttle red truck!
I also like this old red truck! Just amazing!
I love the truck. I learned to drive on a stick. It made my driver's test really interesting especially the parallel parking on a hill...Ha Ha..
Looks to be in remarkably good condition for its age. I'm just guessing but it looks like something in the '23-'27 vintage. Could be older than that even. Very cool shot!

Very nice old red truck - Beautiful photo with the shadows on it!
I'd love to have a lawn ornament like that! I'd love to have a lawn big enough for that lol
great pics
That is so cool! I'll bet it looks great in the parades.
I love it, too. I'd keep it in the garage most of the time.
You stand to drive it! Imagine! I love the truck too! Happy Ruby Tuesday! :)
wow! old but glamorous truck, very attractive and it looks new to my eyes. I love the color..
I don't know how you drive it, but I sure would like to take a ride in it.
That would have to be worth a pretty penny if it still works. An expensive lawn ornament!
What a remarkable vehicle -- certainly not very, erm, streamlined. But what a great paint job for Ruby Tuesday.
Love that old red truck! What a personality!
I'm a little late, but Mary said to check out your blog and the trains. Gary and I are big train fans here in the States. That CN locomotive is gorgeous as are all your photographs. I'll be visiting again.
This old truck is pretty special. I don't know if I'd leave it outside all summer in the elements. Great Ruby Tuesday.
