The sky over this East Gwillimbury potato farm looks cold because it is. Brrr. The potatoes were harvested months ago.
The owners are probably either in Florida or on their way. LOL

This is wonderful....and cold looking!
Check out those skies!!! I don't blame for heading to Florida either!
So I gather now is not the height of tourist season in East Gwillimbury? Beautiful sky photos.
Beautiful photo's!!
Take care
Starkly beautiful skies. And yes, it does look cold! I almost saw my breath hanging in the air while I was looking!
I've got - SANTA in the sky!

Yes, I saw them the other day, passing through... they were all in front of me on the interstate coming back from Atlanta!!! Great captures... winter without a word... in FALL! Stay warm!
Great sky and great overture for upcoming holidays! Bye and greetings from Croatia!
The sky looks huge in these pictures, beautiful.
In Florida an missing all this beauty? Send them a potato.
PS I'm not a pilot - you are looking across a small fjord towards the island that protects the outer coast. The clouds were over the ocean.
Beautiful and cold, the sepia scene is super too.
It does look cold because it is so cold already! I like the pink tones in the sky...adds a wee bit of warmth.
Yikes - if they missed any spuds, they must be rocks by now! Wonderful shots, even if they do make my teeth chatter!
They definitely don't need the watering system there in the field do they!
Beautiful skies!
It looks sooooo... cold.
Thank goodness for (small Murphies also known as mercies),that the tattes were in last week, or the price would hike again.
Lovely pictures. Have a warm week inside.
Beautiful snow on the trees and the trees against that beautiful sky!
I have to say that it really does look very cold there.
Take care
Ray
That's cold looking! We're hitting the thirties here in Florida. I guess that's pretty balmy for y'all.
EG: That looked like some of the scary skies we had this week.
Looking at the frst photo, one knows which side of the globe the snow comes from- Amazing that only one side has them! Cold but beautiful!
Man, the potatoes wouldn't stand a chance. Great photos, I love everything about them.
Brr indeed, but what a sight. What a glorious tree too. Loving the tree.
Fantastic shots, 1st one my fav.
Gorgeous photos, beautiful skies.
The first one is heartbreakingly beautiful (well, it really touched my heart), the other one too. Each of the previous posts I looked at are of an exquisite beauty! Thank you for sharing your world with us.
The top shot is justst magical. Love the way it is framed and those snow painted trees.
Good luck to them in Florida or Hawaii or where ever they are.
Exquisite as always. I love the sepia shot below also... Gorgeous.
Stunning photos. I love their mood. Beautiful.
Happy skywatching:-)
I just come to sauna and now I´m freezing when I see this could fields. But your shot is very good and interesting. ;-)
I can almost feel the chill. Very wonderful SWF entry!
Oh so beautiful. the wind must have been blowing when it snowed. Look at the trees. How cold? Brr!
Great shots. You are excellent. MB
These photos and the subject matter could have been taken and written in Northern Maine! Oh, you bring back memories. My son still lives there and I suppose it looks like this out his window right now! Though it's warmer here in Tucson, the sky is overcast and it only warmed into the low 60's today. I have a long-sleeve shirt on as a result. I'm sure you don't feel sorry for me! ;)
I wonder how that snow stays just on one side of the trees trunk ?
That gives a wonderful effect.
It depends on how long is the winter, but I would have loved to stay a little in front of such landscape...... and leaving for Florida just after .
At least you get your greeting cards.
Oh yes it looks very cold but so beautiful. Great photos, snow on the ground is incredibly pretty. We haven't had any yet. It is cold though, I am heading for the hot chocolate. Hot chocolate is my friend in the wintertime ;)
Great winter images. Nice shots. Great photos.
Awesome shots as usual.
Have a nice weekend.
Beautiful snowy view.
Very lovely winter landscape! Beautiful sky!
You should have named it Cold Skies over potato farm--you look at the sky and can just feel the cold.d
Beautiful!!! Looks like you had some windy weather -- the snow is plastered to one side of all the trees. Brrrr.
Winter has definitely arrived. Still this is a peaceful scene. Cold but calming! ~shiver~
Those are both so beautiful to me. I hope we get a decent snow this winter where I live. Some winters we do and some we don't. At least I can enjoy your beautiful shots of the winter wonderland.
I love snow too... Nature is truly beautiful! Happy weekend! Hope you can have time to visit my corner too...
It's another world to me, cold but beautiful.
Very beautiful winter photos! I would like to have snow too ... Here in Istanbul it is still 17 degrees! Like in October! Global warming! Have a beautiful Friday and week-end! :-)
Excellent shots. That first one looks exactly like alot of areas of Saskatchewan.
Cheers!

Brrr is right. We have one of these potato fields not far from us. It looks very similar.
The ground is resting now and will be good as new in the spring.

Yes, this looks cold and brrr. Your photos portray the cold- and loneliness of the harvested field very well...brr...
