That is gorgeous!
I agree with Mama Zen, gorgeous.
I love the play of light on the branches, great shot
Very nice shot@
It spooky and beautiful.
Excellent picture, EG! Great Monochrome! I'm sorry I didn't get a chance to to SOOC this week...
Very wonderful shot! I love this.
My Monochrome photo is up here. Hope you can pass by, too. Thanks!
There must have been some sunshine cos I see some shadow!
Very nice photo!
Haunting beauty.
I love the shadow. Nice shot.
What a catch EG, That tree is storing up sap for next spring.

I was out taking pictures of bare trees today in the sun.
I love the bare branches and the snow but what I really like is that shadow! Terrific.
Altogether the perfect picture.
When the Linky went down, I collected as many participant URLs that I could and built the Maniacs Blogroll as a fallback. Hope you don't mind.
That's such a beautiful photo! The tree is lovely, and the shadow is perfect.
It looks like you were there at just the right moment to capture the tree and the shadow. I enjoy your monochromes.

Beautiful shadow. Like a reflection in the water. MB
Stark and wintry and nifty. Throw another log on the fire, please...
Another beautiful b&w. I always like to see them.
WOW
and I love the idea of random tree decorating ... perhaps its a forest ranger?

Oooh, I like this. Great contrast with the snow on the ground. We're finally getting good rain and snow in the mountains. I'm going to get out and see how close I can get to get a couple of shots.
:-)
What a nice shot of the winter tree, nature is so beautiful !
Gorgeous capture!
Perfection personified!
WOW! What an awesome shot!
