Isn't he a cutie? Wonderful capture.
They are small but intense and will scold me if they happen to run out of seed. They are a constant reminder of food.

I've seen a lot of chickadees on the blogs of late, but few are as good a shot as this. I don't see them in real life...I guess because I head south for the winter.
Isn't a chickadee a kind of Gteat Tit? They are yellow in Holland.
I love your chickadee photos. What kind of camera do you use?
YAY!!! What a sweet little Chickadee. You take such super pictures---what kind of camera do you use? Oops, I guess Grammy asked the same question. See, inquiring minds want to know!! MB
Amazing shot Sandy
Lovely little birds. I have a bird feeder in the back yard, but it's too far from the house to take pics while staying in the warm!
What beautiful shots of these cute birds. Love the close-ups!

EG, I used to feed chickadees in my backyard til pigeons chased them all away and ate all the bird seed! :( Marvelous shots!

Oh! How beautiful. I'm glad they're able to get food in this cold weather.

Such a cute little critter. Excellent capture.
Fantastic shot of this little chickadee.
Beautiful cutie. We have a bird called a cola tit which is very much like your little chickadee. Sweet garden birds.
Beautiful shots of the chickadee.
The barn in today's post is excellent too, I like how the red contrast with the sky and how the white in the trim is complimented by the white of the snow.
Grammy and MB,
I have two Canon cameras. (Yep, I'm spoiled --but I saved up for them, really I did.)
One is a point and shoot S5 IS, which I carry on hikes and carry with me most of the time, actually.
The other is a Rebel XSI, which is the one I used for the chickadee shots. I have only had the Rebel since last fall so I'm still learning how to use it.
Just wonderful!
What a lovely fellow! You caught some wonderful details. I wish I could capture the birds in my world, but alas my little point and shoot cannot focus quickly enough.
Good morning! I was browsing the web for personal knowledge, finding your blog interesting!
I will with a simple, well made, wrote a moving, beautiful photos and how immaginerà not know English very well. I am sure it will include any spelling mistakes, I apologize in advance. I'm an Italian boy who writes poems, with a dream in the drawer, open a room in Paris a winbar.
I would not mind a comment, what I write, in my humble Italian site,
in thanks for the inadvertent intrusion greetings

I LOVE Chickadees - they are so beautiful! These photos are absolutely fantastic. That first photo especially took my breath away.
There is nothing more sweeter than a Chickadee sound on a winter morning. Lovely photos.
What great close-ups!
Chickadees are just so cooperative! :)
Such a little sweetheart! In my garden I can't seem to get this closeup and personal with birds:/ Reason for that my fierce creatures in shape of one yapping loaf doggie (who don't like intruders) and salivating cats, can't win them all, huh?
