Thank you for calling in to see my blog. What a beautiful snow scene, perfectly shot, I cant believe the temperatures in your previous posts -24 c ....brrrr
we are -2c today, and everybody I have met today has said its soooo cold....-24 the Uk would grind to a halt!!
I always find boats in snow, or stuck like this, quite sad, I'll hang on to the "dreaming of..." from now on instead. Nice capture!
I wonder why the owner has left it like that for the winter.
I just know there's water under there! ;)
You still have that beautiful snow! I enjoy your photos of snow so much! Am hoping that we get a little more before winter is over. The boat in the snow photo is such a contrast!
A delightful view.... cold yes.. but oh so nice.
Glad for the visit and your welcome back to blogland... ;o)
I am so ready for sunny warm days.MB
Three posts (from My world to Watery wednesday) with beautiful photos and moments. Great work.
Great photo, I love the composition and I know there's liquid under all the frozen water.
It looks much the same way around here. :)
what a super photo. I am surprised the hull of the boat isn't cracked with the ice?
Gill
Nice capture from a great angle.
Great shot and I think the title is very appropriate. That poor little loney boat is just sitting there out of water waiting for the ice and snow to melt.
Bingo - one for me!!!
Not in the frozen stuff... there isn't!
You can always dream
An Arkie's Musings
Memories ... I used to go swimming at Musselman's Lake when I was little.
Your scene is a familiar sight around here in RI, the ocean state. I don't know why boaters do not take in their boats for the winter, it is like they have abandoned them.
Nice photo would make a lovely painting.
Not much sailing? Ah, I see what u mean ...
Not unless you're sailing an ice breaker I'd say! I'm guessing the owner of that boat is anxious for the spring thaw!
Cold shot for sure. Stay warm.
Ha! A frozen lake. Wish I'd thought of that. Actually I have one too.
This is gorgeous! See there was some sun.
Unbelievable! All of your photos are so beautiful. Perfection. Can you tell that I am almost speechless?
Nice snowed river shot! Happy Water Wednesday!
It looks just like things around here. I am so tired of winter already!
B.
Haha I feel your pain. Great shot.
Cheers!

I must admit I've never seen a boat in the snow like that. Good shot!
I like this photograph, it has a good feel to it. We can put some ski's on the bottom of it and watch it cruise the ice.
excellent post! a very cold and wonderful place.
Aww, the poor little boat looks quite forlorn. Nice photo, however.
Bobbie
But even snowy water, is water !
Brrr, cold ....
Perfect mood! Great shot and thanks for finding it and leaving it here to check out when I feel like there isn't sunshine in my life.
I like the summer boat on the winter lake. I'd never have known there we water under that snow.
Darla
I am dreaming about spring and summer.
I'm back from vacation happy 2009... your photos are great as always.
Such a loney boat. Beautiful.
I'm surprised it would be left out like this. Does make for an interesting shot....and LOVE the shadows!
What a beautiful picture -- even if it is cold. I'm ready to see water instead of ice. Thanks for visiting my site.
What an appropriate title! I like this shot.
Wow, EG! It's a gorgeous lake even in Winter! :)
That's a beautiful photo.
The water is there - underneath. Cracking the ice is just too much work for this fellow stuck out there. Pity it's left like that. But your picture is gorgeous. I would still beg to be sent some snow but last night we had some - finally. Allthough it being warm again I don't think we'll hang on to it very long. Allready it has dropped of the trees.
Your other pictures are all very good too.
That's a nice contemplative photo - but I think the boat owner is going to have some real work to do later on!
Not land locked, but ice locked.
Thought it would be the same old story, till I scrolled down a little and saw the boat. That really makes it a more complex story! Thanks for sharing!
how wonderful!
