Old, Old Tree/ Sepia Scenes

Growing on the fence line between two EG farmers' fields

OOPS! Almost forgot to say that Photoshop Elements transformed this photo into sepia using the old-paper filter.

Beautiful, frameworthy. I hope you have some of your photos on your walls.

The background behind the tree looks like solid rock of a mountain and then it could also be a background with the tree applied. I am starting to think I am seeing things. LOL

I still have the old blogs but I also have new ones Abe Lincoln Blogs and also look at Abraham Lincoln's Blog

Absolutely Fabulous! I'm thinking it would make a GREAT cover for Mystery novel. WOW!!!

It almost looks like there is snow in the sky with your Sepia photo! I love that since it is my favorite kind of weather.

Forgot to say, I left a comment on two more below this one.

I'm not seeing the image at all... and Googles reporting some kind of server error when I try to open it in a new tab, but based on the reactions I'm hoping this is resolved soon!

I may be able to see it at home since I'll be on a different network. Hope so anyway!

Spoke too soon. I went back to the post after I left my comment and it rendered fine. And it was well worth the extra click too! I love the character in this old tree, with or without the old paper effect. *applause*

Love this, and the texture you used was such a great idea. Fabulous.

I find myself looking at many old trees this time of year with their many stretching branches.
This is lovely. I like that the tree 'sits' on the paper. :)

Lovely as always!

Nice find!

I was sitting here staring at your beautiful picture and "wondering how in the heck did she do that?". lol. Then I read the text. I think this is one of my favorites from you. I'd like to see one of your best barn shots fixed up like this.

The parchmnent background effect adds so much interesting strength to the photo! Gorgeous!

Beautiful! That old tree has so much character set the way it is alone against the sky. The old paper filter is a favorite of mine too.

Poor old tree, he's been through a few storms and tempests. I wonder what fascinating tales he could tell?

There are times when the grey-sepia effect is so right, and this is one of them, EG! Beautiful! :)

I enlarged the picture of the tree as I thought I saw a large cat in it. Enlargement was not quite enough though.
Lovely pictures.
The sunset in the header looks as though the frost has captured the suns rays and made them into flakes.
Thanks for sharing and Happy New Year.

I used to have Elements on my old computer, and I miss that "old paper" action. This photo is wonderful -- a work of art!

The book store post was great. I also have a second hand book store that I cant walk by without entering.

I love sepia and I was wondering how you got the sky to look like parchment......I don't think my rustic version of PS has it. '~(

I agree, this one should be framed. The old paper effect is perfect, and so is the coloring.

makes it look like a drawing on parchment - nice one.

I love this! I'm also fascinated by the background behind the tree. It looks like it is standing before a textured wall but I know that's not possible.

I'm on a roll here today.. :O)
Love what you have done with this.
