Don't forget to vote for the April theme! We get two choices this time, thanks to Elaine. Please help spread the word too.

Funny title! It does look like some sort of strange apocalypse. A neat scene.

Brrr! We're in the midst of a downpour here. Not spring yet but I'm sure all this is making the waiting plants happy.

Wow. I don't know whether to be jealous (we hardly ever have snow) or pity you.
Fantastic shot either way :)

Clever. I stopped and read your blog and looked at the photograph. I just wanted you to know.

PERBS said...

I am envious of your snow BUT I did find the first spring flower here recently AND the internet says it appears between march and . . . so it was even early! Thanks again for identifying it.

This photo of yours speaks volumes and I love it. If not for a digital world, I would not have taken a photo like it but so glad it is and that you did! Just beautiful!

I also left a comment on post below.

I'm trying my best to be patient, too - but I'm nearing the end of my rapidly fraying rope! hehehe

If YOU have Spring, I'm moving north! So I guess I stay. Beautiful!

Looks like you have a ways to go for spring but at least there is ground and old plants peeking through the snow. Interesting shot.

That is an incredible shot! and it does stir my longing for spring! Although I have to admit that although it's gray and cold here, it's nothing like your photo -- I'm just a wuss!

It does have kind of that "nuclear winter, day after tomorrow" vibe about it. I could stare at this for a while!

Oh! no! far from feeling the sun warmth !
I love the different texture of your picture. Very interesting to look at it. just like an artwork in relief.

That's a beautiful shot, a real postcard of a view... but I want Spring now!! LOL This scene would make a wonderful 'grand finale' to winter, really lovely.

Ruth said...

Great winter picture, even if we have had quite enough of it.

It may not be spring yet but it sure is pretty!

Yes, that's what it's looking like in my world, too. Last year this time I had open water, lots of ducks and geese, and sandhill cranes to blog. This year, we all still have snow, and none of us want to blog or read about it any more.

Think warm, sunny thoughts!

Janie said...

The cornstalks look sad, all bent down by the snow.
I'm looking forward to spring, too. Can't be much longer.

Roan said...

No spring here yet either! Love the snowy corn field.

Kris McCracken said...

Snow on corn, I've never seen that before.
