Tim Horton's/ My World
And Tim Horton's coffee is a big part of Ontario's world. It's the rare Ontario town that doesn't have a Tim Horton's. Sadly, East Gwillimbury is one of those towns.
But be still my heart! Mount Albert (one of East Gwillimbury's villages) is supposed to get one in 2009.
So next summer if you're heading up highway 48, look for this sign and stop in. I'll be the customer with the camera.

Mmmm. I'm a big coffee connoisseur, myself!
I'm looking forward to an Olive Garden restaurant opening up here, with strong hopes a Macaroni Grill will follow!
We don't have a Tim Horton's in the hills of Tennessee, but I've heard good things about it.
Tim Horton must be like Starbucks for Canada.
Sure hope Tim's comes your way. Don't know what I'd do without my home brewed morning jolt. I even travel with an espresso pot.
how fantastic ! that you posted a picture of the TIM horton's coffee, that reminds me of a familyvisit in Canada, typical for USA and canadian coffe, I feel family-homesick now.... welldone:)
MyWORLD in HOLLAND is cold with frozen canals and a windmill, or maybe do you like skating? Or watch my CROWM-story:) smile!
I welcome you to visit my blog her:

Great post. It's obvious that you love this place very much.
Aaahh.... someone who shares my heart! In "My World" it's Dutch Brothers Coffee (or Starbucks, of course).
Coffee is a big part of my world too. I've never been to a Tim Horton's but if I find myself somewhere that has it, I'll definitely try it.
As long as I have my cuppa... I can face the day! For British people "cuppa"is a cup of tea, for us it's a cup of coffee, stronger than the British people have. When I am in England I always drink tea.
EG: Thanks for the information on the special coffee shops of Ontario.
We don't have one of those here in florida.Hmmmm....
We definitely don't have Tim Hortin's here in Oz. However I will put it to memory just in case I am ever in Canada and need a good coffee.
Yay for Timmies! Double, double for me!
And I'll be the other customer with the camera, lol, great post.
We can't do without our coffee, can we! This is great! Thanks so much for posting.
Coffee is very popular in Australia also, but mostly we buy our coffee from independant cafes. All the major cities have a smattering of Gloria Jeans, but as far as I know, Starbucks is only in Melbourne and Sydney and there is only one starbucks drive through!!
I was in Winnipeg last summer for my anniversary, and they are quite prevalent in Manitoba, too. I had caramel frappucino (sp?)-type thing. It was divine. (Way better than Starbucks!)
I guess this is the Starbucks of Canada? In my town, our choices are the local cafe or 7-11. Sigh.
Is Tim Horton the Starbucks of Canada? I hope it's not as overpriced as their states counterpart.
I am now a coffee free person for months, but this one would surely tempt me. :(
I am no coffee lover, but I'd order anything else they have! lol....thanks for bringing this to here, never seen one yet! ;)
Pretty much sums up all of Canada....lol. Great post!
Cheers!

don't have one of those in the greater roanoke valley but we've a couple of starbuck's now...only recent additions in the past 3 years. only think i like at starbuck's isn't coffee...rather it is their tea. actually had a large ice tea today for lunch while it was still 60 degrees out.
have a great week.

I thought Timmy's was shutting down the drive thrus. Or maybe that was somebody trying to get them to shut down the drive thrus. I'm all about my coffee, but I'll go inside thanks. No point sitting outside running up the carbon bill while going nowhere.
A world without Timmy's is a world without paper cups blowing in the ditches.
And in answer to Jan... Timmy's is ten times better than Starbucks.
Never heard of it, but looks like they serve up a great cup of coffee. Our best cup of coffee here in the states is either McDonalds or Dunkin Donuts. Probably the later.
Bring on those beans! Very cool. I don't know where the nearest one of those is. I do know my trusty percolator means more to me than, well, a lot!
I LOVE coffee. I can't imagine what I would do if I wasn't allowed to drink it anymore.
Do you know, I never heard of them before I moved to Michigan?
I am not a coffee drinker, but Tim Horton's has yummy donuts and cookies!!
Take care and thanks for sharing your world with us!
yay! we have Tim Hortons just around the corner, I can smell their fresh coffee from our deck. :)
I have a friend here from Nova Scotia and she has often mentioned Tim Horton's to me and how much she misses it!
Is it like Horton sees a Who? You will be the Who--with camera. MB
Coffee shops in my city is sprouting everywhere, it's getting me confused :) and they offer a lot of plus just to get customers like free WIFI, buy one-take one orders, free book readings and such. Life is good but all those need money so I just go there when I have extra.
A warm cuppa, any time!
Have a good one!
No Tim Horton's In Singapore or New Zealand, though Star Bucks is every where.
One cappuccino please.
great post!
have a nice week ;)
I LOVE coffee....never had Tim Horton's before! I think the design on the cup is pretty awesome!!
Tim Horton's huh? We both know I'm pretty faithful to my own brand Peets. If I ever get to Canada I might be willing to give Tim's coffee a whirl.

I'm a coffee person. It that anything like Starbucks? Do you guys have Starbucks up there?
I would most definitely stop there if I were in your neck of the woods. Life is not worth living without coffee.
What would we do without Timmies? I can walk to 4 different Tim Hortons from my house, all within 1 km. Steeped tea with milk and a bagel please!
Oh Man, you've hit a soft spot with me! I love Tim Horton's! I could use a cafe Mocha right now and a walnut butter tart! Yum! No Tim's anywhere near Tucson I'm afraid but I can visit them when I go back east to Maine!
I know you will find this hard to believe...but there is a Tim Horton's in St. Albans, West Virginia, USA...I know as it is right up the street from my mom's house...I have even blogged it...I LOVE their coffee!!!
