Dead Wood/ Watery Wednesday
On a calm day, the reflections on this mill pond called to my camera and me. Doesn't the reflection and the log sticking out of the water on the right look a little like an alligator with jagged teeth?

So many shapes leaving the door wide open for imagination! Lovely!
My first thought was an alligator, even before I read your post!
Hi and thanks for visiting my blog while I was away.
I've scrolled through your latest shots and they are as expected all blooming marvellously detailed.
This watery photo is so full of mystique and atmosphere it should be displayed as an illustration for some great novel. Right there on the cover.
This picture is outstanding! Lovely composition!
Kind Regards
Léia
Before digital cameras . . . how many of us would have taken a picture of this scene? I think the digital age brought out out imaginations greatly!
Beautiful, and yes, that log definitely does look like an alligator :).
Yes, I immediately thought alligator too, LOL! Beautiful reflections.

I would like to be fishing there!
Wow, so much going on in this one! It's very beautiful.
That log certainly does look like an alligator with mouth wide open. Lovely reflections.
What a delightful photograph. Lovely reflections.
My entry is here: http://ewok1993.wordpress.com
I am having a hard time commenting using my wordpress link on blogger. I wonder why.
Yes it definitely DOES look like an alligator!
The water is so incredibly still. Great shot.
Nice shot. It does look like an alligator with teeth. I love to take shots of things in the water (obviously LOL!). They make the most interesting shots.
Love the reflections. Reminds me of some lakes in Texas.
Did you have a particular reason for not doing this in black and white?
You found a Texas size gator. :D, I really like the moodiness of this one.
Oh, yes, that's an alligator! And the four posts are part of a castle. The weird wood at right is a witch, descending upon the scene.
That's something, sometime mistaken for abstract and makes for a beautiful photo.
Awesome shot! Great reflections - and those old trees gives the imagination a lot to work with! Alligator for sure on the right!
Love the reflections and yes, that old stump does look like a gator. Great photo.
Excellent as always, love the reflections.

I must say this is a wonderful shot, love the reflection and the "alligator" drift wood.
Yes, I see the Alligator. Terrific shot!.
B.
yes, there's the alligator!:D what a magnificent photo! stunning.
That tree trunk in the lower right, and its reflection, look very reptilian.
It looks so sad, missing. VEry touchign picture.
Very pretty shot.
Great reflections. I love to look for still lakes and ponds to see what I can see reflected in the water. I love the "alligator". We look for real alligators here in FL, but most times they are just sleeping!
Love the reflections, & yes, it does look like a gator!
What a great photo........I thought the log looked like an alligator before I read your comment.
i love the reflection of the trees to the water,so clear. i'm sure there is an alligator there because of still water.
I definitely see the "alligator".
Great shot!
It kinda does look like a gator.
must be a place of an alligator. nice clear water.
It's really good.
Yes it does look like a very hungry croc ;)
Another great photo!
Beautiful watery scene! It sure looks like a little alligator. Have a great day :)
So calm and reflective.

It's a perfect reflection! I first thought that there was a croc lying in the water, just like you said. Water makes always a great picture. Thanks for your visit and comment!
Lovely photo ... reminds me of many hours I spent on lakes bass fishing with my 'ex' years ago.
Hugs and blessings,
