The photo is lovely, but it looks empty and sad.

EG, how come all your photos are always serene, even when's a train driving by at top speed? I love this, though a light inside would be cool.

Love the reflection, EG... I'll bet that lots of little places like that are all closed up for the winter...

Hugs,
Betsy

This would be my favorite time to stay here. When it's quiet and peaceful. What a splendid reflection!

I agree with Leia...the reflection is magnificent. But I always find it sad that these places shut down "for the season." They don't have any other choice, of course.

It's a lovely shot, EG!

Great shot EG, looks very peaceful. Sorry I had to delete my comment since the hyperlink to my post didn't work. I noticed that the linky wasn't open at 2sweets blog, I hope she is okay.

Such a clear reflection. This photo is very interesting with its "double" effect.

Upside down. Downside up. Terrific picture either way. Love the pretty blue of the house.

Great reflection. Definitely Fall!

Nice reflection, the house looking so much a summer cottage even on late Autumn. If I owned this, I would be looking at this photo the entire winter, and dream of fishing next summer...

Even without snow and ice, everything looks asleep. I hope that the owners put the chairs in before a big wind comes...or maybe wind is not an issue there!

love the stillness of the reflection, and the mood of this scene.

At least there was a chair left out to sit and rest a spell...or to just enjoy the quiet.
