Mount Albert Creek/ Watery Wednesday
Several creeks flow through East Gwillimbury, all flowing northerly into Lake Simcoe. This one - Mount Albert Creek - is on the east side of town. If you look closely, you can see a thin layer of ice on the creek.
This map shows the creeks and rivers that flow into Lake Simcoe. East Gwillimbury is located on the south side of the lake in York Region.
Here you can see why I take so many photos of Lake Simcoe - it's so close!

About Me
- EG CameraGirl
- East Gwillimbury is a rural town less than an hour north of Toronto, Canada's largest city. My family calls me CameraGirl because I take my camera with me wherever I go.

This creek looks so familiar to the ones here. Thin layer of ice too. We're supposed to get lake effect snow tonight. The 24" we got last week is almost gone and we can start over again.
Have a great week.

Any fish in there?
Truly magnificent!
That is beautiful.I would take lots of pictures too.
~~Hugs~~
very pretty with all the snow--but looks cold too.
Neat picture, EG... AND--it looks cold up there. Thanks for showing us the lake --and nearby creeks. Won't be long 'til that water is totally frozen!!!
Hugs,
Betsy
Wow! So beautiful!
I love the photo, and having a map helps, although I know where you are!!
All your pictures could be Christmas cards! Just beautiful.
So dramatic. So watery. So colorful. So snowy. So cold!
So very beautiful!

Yes, the ice is there to stay, for a few months! I love the reflections, though, and the bright blue sky. It just seems so dark with all the clouds we have been having.
Beautiful and cold too. I've said this before and it is so true. You live in such a picturesque area. Keep taking those pictures. MB
It's all starting to make sense now.
Beautiful and cold. Thanks for posting the map - it helps my mental picture.

Still no fish?
Beautiful photo of a beautiful creek and IS THAT SNOW I SEE??????? I am so jealous!!!!!!
This has a great crisp winter atmosphere about it.
There is nothing like water for making interesting subjects - as you show here.
Craver Vii,
Yes. Trout, but don't ask me what kind exactly.
Craver Vii, i have caught brook trout, chub and sucker in there.
