This is a wonderful tower, its classic shape formed by the brick, shingle roof and ruby detailing. Modern architecture is probably more efficient - but lacking in the beauty of the past...
I like the unique bell tower a lot! And I saw that blue sky you are having too! We had a little blue peeking thru today but it is all gray clouds and rain again now. sigh
A special bell tower from about 80-100 years ago, I guess. I like the strong, clear lines, rectangular and circular. The red wood(?) enhances the building, brings dynamic and character to it. Great shot. Great building. From Felisol P.S.Hope you like the Ken Follet. It's some brick to come through, but it sure is worth while doing.
East Gwillimbury is a rural town less than an hour north of Toronto, Canada's largest city.
My family calls me CameraGirl because I take my camera with me wherever I go.

Do you know the cuckoo who lives in there?
Very lovely Ruby Tuesday I like the contrast between the shingles and the red trim and is that a tiny bit of snow I see?

Ooh, I like it a lot! What a perfect ruby :)
I also like the architectural details, as that Ralph person said, ;-)
This looks like it's quite old. Or is it just built to look old?
Happy Ruby Tuesday!

That is truly pretty. I adore towers like that. I never get as good shots as you obviously did, though. Lovely. Thanks.
This clock tower looks like it belongs somewhere in England...
Very nice composition, EG! The red "shutters" make the photo (well, the clock, too, of course!).
I really like this clock tower. It's perfect for Ruby Tuesday.
Such quaint and loving architecture against a perfect blue sky!

Beautifully done photo. Going back to your blog now to figure out where East Gwillimbury is. Thanks for sharing.
That kind of architecture just begs for a photographer. Lots of interesting details.
Gorgeous photo!! Love it!
A beautiful picture. I wonder how often somebody gets up there to paint?
What a cool structure, I'd never have guessed that it's a library.
Your photos are always wonderful. This one is no exception.
The tiny bit of detail (metal?) at the top just sets it off.
