Bet the critters love that old tree trunk... We have one in the empty lot next door and there are holes --and woodpecker holes all through that old tree. It's no telling what lives in there now!!!
East Gwillimbury is a rural town less than an hour north of Toronto, Canada's largest city.
My family calls me CameraGirl because I take my camera with me wherever I go.

You're right - something about the twisted trunk makes it look like it's winding up for a throw.

Dead trees are a bit special.

I like this! The first thing that came to mind was a ballet dancer!
Yep, it does. Cool shot EG. I love old trees. I bet it could tell a tale or two.

Super shot! Or maybe the stump is winding up with arms straight out to throw a shot put. :D Incredible snow.
That old tree creates a very artistic shape against the snow! It looks determined never to be forgotten!
Yeah you're right, it looks like its about to throw a stick. great shot!
you've got a great imagination-- I can see it
I think it looks like an alien, with weird horns. You can tell I tortured with lots of Sci-Fi, by Bob.
I didn't see it till you said it, but it sure does!
I think it just froze to death---with a long are out saying 'help me'.
Oh I guess I like the javelin thrower better. LOL MB
It looks more like a Halloween trunk to me.
Good pic. Love the look of that old tree. Valerie

Perfect shot against the backdrop of all that snow. I am soooo jealous!
Beautiful! It looks great against all that snow! It could also me about to twirl with arms open wide! :)
