I always find that cool on cloudy days when the sun makes an appearance just in time to set.
Beautiful photo, EG!
I'm glad the sun peeked out long enough for you to get this beautiful picture.
What a beauty you got here!
Peek - a - boo! Lovely skywatch photo . . . but it's not Friday yet?
Leif,
In the blogging world, Thursday is the new Friday. :)
A real eye-opener.
Very cold looking but I am glad you can see there really is a sun up there. MB
I love images like this that focus on the foreground but reveal the tiny surprizes that can be found in the distance.

Have a great weekend :)
I'm so glad someone gets to see it! Not strictly true, it made a guest appearance yesterday. It had been almost 3 weeks since we'd had LIGHT.
Then again, no fields here so no such splendour!
I love the colorful sky over the snowy field. Beautiful shot.
Don't you just love those orange colors at night?
Beautiful EG.

Lovely!
I love my mountains but your wide open expanses always make for lovely sunrise and sunset shots.
Mine’s here: Round The Bend.
Lovely capture of the sunpeeking thru, the colors are lovely.
As we would say here that's a reaf flamming orange sky.
Gorgeous! Glad the sun at least put in an appearance! That's about all we've been getting lately! Have a great weekend!

Gorgeosu! Soemthing about linear shots that is so compelling to me. Well done!
You mean that's the first (and last) time you saw the sun that day?
Good thing you were there with your camera.
Super shot, EG!
glad you were ready to capture this when the sun said hello :)
Looks like someone is peeking through the clouds.
I love this quiet moment when the world is just waking up.
What a delightful splash of color in your lovely wintry world!
Hugs and blessings,

Brilliant colours, but it looks mighty chilly.
