A sight I see often!! You know, someone else posted (I think from Ohio) a few days ago about the influx of Red Admirals this year on the very same day I saw my first ever two!! It must be The Year of the Red Admiral! ~karen
East Gwillimbury is a rural town less than an hour north of Toronto, Canada's largest city.
My family calls me CameraGirl because I take my camera with me wherever I go.

You won't catch me tip toeing out there. No way!

I can think of a few people I'd like to see take a long walk on it.
Rickety dock for sure, the kind for photos not actually using!
Not too many people using that dock. Makes for a great picture though. MB
Well, I'm not sitting on it ;) I'll leave it to the seagulls! Love this image though and I would love to visit it.
Maybe a great way to try the water:-)
The picture is a little bit sad, but beautiful.
You may be right. Where's the rest of it?
I don´t know about teh ducks, but I would not try it for sure.
Nice capture though. :)
I think you are correct. Love the title of the post. Lovely shot.
I wouldn't dare try but it's a lovely scene...
It´s lovely to look at, but I won´t sit on it! lovely picture:)
Warped dock... You mean like a deranged medic?
Yeah, probably only suitable for seagulls.
Looks like the final line of a poem to me. Wonderful sight ! Please have a nice Wednesday.

Very interesting!
There's beauty everywhere! And a watery sight like this reminds me of home and some parts here.
Your title tells it all! That dock has seem better days and I bet there are some great stories there.
You made a wonderful photo...and no not me too...
Pretty scene, I wouldn't walk on that dock though!
Oops! B Squared is so funny. But I would have to share the same sentiment.
Best to wear a swimsuit to that place of pierless beauty!
a peaceful scene. i'd probably check out this dock, in my swimsuit.:p
Yep, I agree, but it looks like a super fishing sopt. Lead me to it!
B.
You made me laugh....I'll fall (maybe) if I stepped on it, LOL!
Hmmm...that dock isn't looking very useful these days!
lake ontario looks like an ocean to me :)
It looks like a quiet and peaceful place. I can imagine some water birds hiding in the reed. Beautiful!

Lake Ontario looks like an ocean to me too, Kaye!
It sure doesn't look safe to me...
I'm not sure that even the gulls should be using that dock. But it certainly does add 'atmosphere' to this scene.
I think you're right! LOL!
may be too many people been diving from it. We have one just like this and kids dive all the time.
Yeah...I'd be afraid to set foot on that! It makes for a beautiful scene though!
