Our cold is nothing compared to your Canadian cold. It was minus 28 degree F when I had my first winter in Windsor, Ontario, Canada. That was freezing.
Here in Auckland, you will say it is mild. We get down to the lowest 1 degrees, usually it is 5 dedgree C. The trouble with New Zealand houses are they are not built for winter and there is no central heating.
If you want to go skiing, you can drive about 4 hours to the mountains.
East Gwillimbury is a rural town less than an hour north of Toronto, Canada's largest city.
My family calls me CameraGirl because I take my camera with me wherever I go.
