Growing beside a local creek on Monday
Starting with the largest square and working clockwise: high bush cranberries (Viburnum trilobum), osier dogwood berries (Cornus stolonifera), soapwort (Saponaria officinalis), Queen Anne's lace (Daucus carota) still blooming, milkweed (Asclepias)) pods, and seed head of unknown grass.

I always enjoy seeing what's going on in your world. Those viburnum berries are so lush and show that you are well ahead of us as my viburnum berries are barely starting and don't have their color yet.
I always love those osier dogwoods...I never seem to get a good capture of them.

I really like those bright red cranberries, but the entire mosaic is beautiful.
That red on the cranberries is so vibrant! Perfect lighting.

I want to get a native cranberry for the yard..I wonder if the unknown one could be snake root as it looks like what my snake roots have. I am going to collect some of the milkweed pods for my monarch garden...Michelle
